Browser Compatibility

HyperLens requires JAVA 1.1, which is supported by a some browsers only. Supporting browsers include:

• Sun HotJAVA 1.4 or HotJAVA Bean 1.2
• Netscape Communicator 4.5
• Microsoft Internet Explorer 4
• Icesoft ICEbrowser
• HyperDAAC Browser Plugin

Note that, amongst popular browsers, Netscape is exceptionally memory-hungry and slow on certain platforms, while Microsoft has more than its fair share of bugs.

If you can see this text, your browser doesn't support (or has disabled) JAVA and will not run HyperLens.
